Asanni Armon is a Black, genderqueer artist and founder of For The Gworls, which fundraises to assist Black trans people with rent and gender-affirmative surgeries. They have been an organizer for the past 8 years, with their entryway into movement work beginning as a founding member of the Black Justice League at Princeton University. 

They are also a rapper, songwriter, producer, and co-founder of SIREN — a band consisting of 6 Black and brown trans artists. 

They are passionate about addressing and redressing the violence that Black transgender people face as it pertains to housing discrimination, job discrimination, and access to affirming healthcare.
