Jennifer Fouche

A proud native of Detroit, Jennifer Fouché is a New York based actor and a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York) and the prestigious Academy Company. In addition to her education at The Academy, Jennifer studied with master teachers Eric Bruner (voice), Dr. Donna Zapola-Connolly (classical voice), Rob Clare (Shakespeare) and co-founder of Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Jeff Perry (scene study).

Upon graduating, she began her acting career as an ensemble member of New York’s critically acclaimed Amoralists Theatre Company and as a member of the Flea Theatre's resident ensemble, The Bats. She is an artist in residence with SoHo Shakespeare Company, a member of the Tony Award winning choir, The Broadway Inspirational Voices and teaching artist. In October of 2021, Jennifer made her Broadway debut in the Broadway comedy, Chicken and Biscuits. Ten days later, she made her on stage Broadway debut as Mama Morton, in CHICAGO; making her one of a handful of people ever to work in two Broadway shows at the same time. Between her various projects, Jennifer can be seen as "Mama" Morton on Broadway. Having toured with the Broadway company for two years, she was also part of the first CHICAGO Broadway cast to perform in Israel.
