Lora Dene King is the Executive Director and Founder of The Rodney King Foundation. Living by the echoes of her father's profound words "Can we all get along?" On a mission to repair the world, her priority for the foundation is to promote and enhance community self-esteem, health, social services, and social justice locally and worldwide. The foundation creates workshops, leadership camps, and provides mental help support to the homeless as well as the youth. Lora has as received numerous awards for her work including Angels In Red, She's The Change, Cup Cakes Community, Fox Channel 11 Holiday Heroes, Girl Don't Be Scared, Unsung Hero Black History Month, I Am A King, Girl Talk, Houston Community College Exceptional Advocate in the Community Awards among others.
